I have photographed track days at Silverstone, Thruxton, Brands Hatch, Goodwood and a few airfields.
I have also provided photography for a number of Autograss race meetings. With pictures printed in AutoGrass review.
I have always been a keen follower of motor sport.
I grew up not far from Brands Hatch. From my teens to my thirties I was
a regular there.
It’s a shame they built the stand on the bank at clearways.
From there you could see almost the whole short circuit.
Now days I go to smaller ciruits where it is still
possible to get close to the action.
Two of the best I have visited recently are Lydden Hill near Canterbury
and Canada Heights near Brands Hatch.
Both still allow the non corporate visitor a good view of the racing.
At Lydden Hill all are welcome in the pits. A great way to see and meet
the competitors.
